Transforming music education
Bigger musical institutions historically and notoriously ignore certain musical genres and content. Sometimes they require you to start with a genre or music you don’t even have any interest in. I’ve found that this is one of the quickest ways to discourage a student. With me, you can dive in to the material you want right away. Together, we can find the path that works best for you.
A modern approach
I’ve found that curiosity is the most important quality to cultivate with my students. This is why Dogstar is more than just a singing studio. Everything I know about singing, performing, songwriting, recording, touring, etc. is up for grabs.
Studio Policies
Payment: Payment is due before the lesson begins. You must pay your first lesson up front before your scheduled slot is locked in.
Cancellations: Once you’re scheduled, there are no refunds for a missed or cancelled lesson. If you’re 15 minutes or more late to a lesson, it’s considered a cancellation.
Online Lessons: You must have good internet connection and be taking lessons from a computer/laptop, not a phone.

Standard Lesson
Online or in-person - My studio has been pretty full these days and I’m unable to take on everyone for recurring lessons. For those I’m unable to work with on a regular basis, this is a great option to still get some time with me. This hour is dedicated to finding 1 major thing that you can work on with your voice to start improving right away. I will teach you how to work on that one thing. You can always come back down the line.
